Local 99 has announced a potential job action to begin on Tuesday, March 21st. UTLA has asked its members to respect and support this action.

In the event of a job action, schools will be closed to students beginning Tuesday, March 21st.

All students in TK, K and 1 who learn in English will receive a paper/pencil packet with work. This will go home on Friday. Students in grades 2-5 will receive work virtually, as specified in the next bullet point.

All students will have access to virtual lessons, which will be completed independently. You will access these through a link that I will send to you via Blackboard on Sunday night, or via the school website. We will ensure that all students have a working device before we leave campus on Monday.

We will host office hours, via ZOOM, to support students with questions and technical issues. These ZOOM sessions will not be instructional in nature. The ZOOM office hour schedule and link will be sent to you Sunday evening.

The In and Out Truck event is scheduled to continue, we may host the truck on Beverwil Ave in the case of a job action.
